Inspired by the Ladybird book series of children’s books, as well as the more recent Ladybird books for Grown-ups, series, we were asked if we would host a few that were put together by a London-based arts collective. With that being the case, these can be seen as more of a pastiche, a tongue-in-cheek homage, than an actual Mickey-take.
Some of the titles are complete, whereas others are either in production or references of just the covers.

Those of a sensitive disposition − and I don’t mean with regard to the Force, should look away now.

Contains strong language, adult humour and scenes of drug use.

Note* −These books have been put together for the purpose of creative and cultural reference, and are not meant to be sold or distributed for profit.

STORY 1: A Healer’s Tale

In life, what drives us, what shapes us and what ultimately becomes manifest? How much is down to external influence, and ultimately, how much are we the sculptor that shapes our own lives?

With many books about Reflexology, this one, strays a little off the beaten path, bringing you the colourful personalities that make it the fun and absorbing part of CAMs that it has now become.

We take a retrospective look at the various ‘fringe’ personalities and their holistic practices within CAMs (Complimentary and Alternative Medicine), that have developed over the ages.

BOOK 3: The ASBO Kids (Vol. 1)

Inspired by their single mum’s enterprising spirit, Chantelle and Stevo develop a sweet little earner of their own. Join us, as we explore their shenanigans in our, ‘A Day in the Life of…’ series.

BOOK 4: BrExit For Kids

Sally is a primary school teacher in a leafy suburb. With a new influx of immigrant children, she feels it her responsibility to lead the way in getting them to embrace British culture. Can she succeed?

BK. 5: Immigrant BrExit Guide

With much of the nation feeling duped over BrExit, we feel it important to look at the lives, origins and practices of some of those that have made it to these shores. Just like the chicken and the egg.

BOOK 6: Beth & Rachel's CAMs

Beth and Rachel are two life-long friends with a complicated friendship. However, with a shared interest in CAMs, they can channel their passive aggressive loathing of each other, sensibly.

BOOK 7: Guide To Divorce

With a record number of at least one single person in 50,000, seeking to get divorced annually, we asked ourselves, ‘Why?’ and ‘Dude, WTF?’. Then we sat down and wrote this guide over a few beers.

BOOK 8: Various Titles…

Within the Geezerbird Books series, there have been lots of ideas for book titles we wish we’d had, or at least seen, throughout childhood, right through our teenage years. Here are just a few.

Wouldn’t it be great if there was a way for those affected by cancer − either directly, or indirectly − to feel that they could come together with others to express what they feel? What they were going through, in a way that went beyond just words...? Wouldn’t it be great? Well, that is what the

Adiós Cancer! project was about.

Simply put, it was an opportunity where the general public could come down and get involved in our drop-in workshop and paint what they felt around the subject of cancer.
We were fortunate enough to have someone come down and record the event called Renée, so here’s a small film we made of that memorable weekend.
